Thank you for evaluating MathU Pro. MathU Pro is a state of the art programmable Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) scientific and financial calculator for the Palm OS based handheld computers. It is made for professionals like you. With MathU Pro, you can harness the numerical power of the Palm handheld computer to solve your computational problems.
MathU Pro has over a hundred built-in functions and more can be added via Function Sets. It is so easy to program, you can fully customize the keyboard to fit the way you work. All calculations are done in double precision (about 16 digits of accuracy). Programs are easy to write using the included editor and debugger. You can share your programs with friends and colleagues.

System Requirements
MathU Pro requires Palm OS 3.0 or higher and 204K of RAM (254K including MathLib). MathU Pro has been enhanced to take advantage of the high resolution screens in Palm OS 5.0 and on the Sony CLIE.
MathU Pro works on any handheld device that is running PalmOS 3.0 or higher including the Palm III, Palm V, Palm VII, m100, m500 series, m700 series, and Tungsten from Palm, Inc, the Handspring Visors and Treos, the Sony CLIE, the HandEra, and the IBM Workpad.
Installation
To install MathU Pro, simply unzip the archive you downloaded and use the Palm Desktop install tool (or equivalent) to install MathUPro.prc, MathUEdit.prc, and MathLib.prc on your Palm device. You might also consider assigning the calculator button to bring up MathU Pro instead of the default calculator after syncing. To save memory, you may decide to not install MathUEdit.prc (the MathU Pro Editor) but, if you do, you will not be able to create new programs or edit old ones. You can install the editor at any time if you do need to edit a program.
MathU Pro requires MathLib.prc to be installed on a handheld device. If you already have MathLib installed on your Palm device from some other program you don't need to install it again. Handspring Visor owners should install the MathLib provided since their built-in MathLib is an older version.
MathLib is not part of MathU Pro. MathLib is a free shared library that can be used by any Palm OS 2.0+ program that needs IEEE 754 double precision math functions. It is distributed under the terms of the GNU Library General Public License, and is freely available with full source code and documentation at the MathLib Information web page. It is not part of MathU Pro, and you're not paying anything for its use; a copy is simply included in this archive for your convenience.
To uninstall MathU Pro, simply delete MathU Pro and MathUEdit from the Palm applications screen. You may also want to delete MathLib as well if you don't have any other programs that require it.

Register MathU Pro
MathU Pro features a free 15 day trial. All the features of MathU Pro are available during the trial. The only difference between the trial and a registered version is that the registration screen no longer displays on startup. After the 15 day trial, the five key (5) becomes disabled. If you decide that you like MathU Pro, purchase a registration code to unlock it.
A registration code can be obtained by purchasing MathU Pro from Creative Creek. You must provide the user name shown in the registration screen to obtain a valid code. The code will be e-mailed to you a few days after registration.
To register your software, select the Display->Registration menu item to bring up the registration screen.
Use graffiti (or the popup keyboard) to enter the registration code you received in the mail into the field following "Reg. code:" and tap OK. If the code you typed in is accepted, a confirmation dialog will appear and the MathU Pro keyboard will be displayed. If you make a mistake in entering in the code, a dialog will indicate that the code wasn't valid and you will be given a chance to edit the code.

When you purchase MathU Pro you are granted a non-exclusive, nontransferable license to use the software and documentation for use in accordance with this License. This License allows use of the software by a single user unless otherwise specified by the description provided at time of purchase.
