CFB SpotWord is a Palm word game which will test how many words you know. The free trial version has all of the features of the full version and includes 10 puzzles. The full version has 500 different puzzles to keep you entertained for many months - if not years.
The object of the game is to find as many words as you can using the nine letters displayed. Each game starts with a new set of letters with one of the letters in the 'spotlight'. Each word must contain that letter and scores a number of points based on the number of letters used.
Each puzzle has three levels based on the number of words you have to guess. You score additional bonus points when you reach a new level.
The game ends when you have reached level three or if you decide to give up and start a new game. If your score is a good one, it is added to the High Scores list which keeps track of the best nine scores so far.

Install SpotWord as follows:
The object of the game is to find as many words as you can using the nine letters displayed. Each game starts with a new set of letters with one of the letters in the 'spotlight'. Each word must contain that letter and earns a score based on the number of letters used.
Tap the letters on the keypad until you have spelt a valid word and then tap the Add button. If SpotWord accepts your word it is added to the displayed list and your score is updated. If the word is not valid, it will be highlighted - tap the first letter of a new guess and the word will be cleared.
If you are temporarily out of ideas, and need some help, tap the Hint
button. You will be shown a partial word with the missing letters indicated with
an asterisk *
Note: A summary of these instructions can be displayed by selecting
Instructions from the Help menu
Valid Words
English words with at least 4 letters and as many as 9 letters may be used.
You can only use a letter as many times as it appears on the keypad. Plural words ending with an S, abbreviations, foreign words, proper nouns, and obscene words are not
allowed.
Both English and US spelling rules are accepted. Details of the origins of the
list of words that SpotWord uses to decide whether or not a word is valid may be seen below.
When you guess a correct word you earn a score which is calculated according to the number of
letters in the word:
Letters Score 4 100 5 250 6 500 7 1000 8 2000 9 4000
Bonus Levels
There are three bonus levels. At the beginning of each puzzle SpotWord will tell
you how many words you need to find to reach each bonus level. The bonus points
you score for reaching each level are:
Level Score 1 1000 2 2500 3 5000
The puzzle is completely solved and the game is finished when you reach level three. If you want to abandon a game and see the solution before you reach level three, select Solve from the Help menu. You can only do this after you have reached level one. If you want to abandon the game before that, select New Puzzle from the Commands menu.
Penalties
You lose points for each incorrect word guessed. Your final score also depends on the number of hints that you request and the time that it takes you to finish a puzzle.
The penalty scores are:
Penalty Incorrect words -50 Hints -50 Time -1 x Seconds
Scores List
When the puzzle is completely solved or a new puzzle is started your total score is compared against the list of nine best scores so far. If it is higher than one or more scores in the list, you are prompted for your name and your score is entered in the list. The lowest score is taken off the list.
Each entry in the list shows the player name and their score.
The most recent entry is highlighted and the name is used as the default for the next game.
The scores list can also be displayed by selecting High Scores from
the Commands menu.
