如何用(WQI)webos QuickInstall安装patch补丁

有很多补丁是.patch格式的.
% N/ a- u% D/ o8 [" n* r$ |这一类补丁的安装可以通过WQI(webOS QuickInstall完成.

1 f+ u; Q) I' _" ~. \相关步骤与.IPK格式的软件一样:
5 D) j; Z$ N, I5 f  `. ?9 e; P开启WQI,连上手机.点一下"+"标记.

4 y/ H+ d- P; ?! P& ^8 E在弹出的窗口中选择相应的补丁..

8 ~* r6 e0 \0 |. e然后再点Install按钮即可安装,

安装完成后WQI有可能提示错误信息.不必管.

3 u$ y$ V% N- w* g要卸载已经安装的程序或补丁,可以直接在Preware中完成.也可以在WQI里制裁

Often times on these forum, you may notice patches posted in .patch format. Most people are used to seeing patches as ipk files, though in reality, those ipks are actually containing .patch files inside.

Since the WebOSQuickInstall v2.7 update, it's patching system was changed to be fully compatible with the WebOS-Internals format. I added a neat feature of being able to install basic .patch files under that format.

First off, download the patch file.
$ J. ~% m4 B3 X: d2 ?0 vCurrently the forums don't support .patch uploads, so most times you'll see the .patch inside a zip.
Click the "+" button in WOSQI
, ^5 F7 }5 B; o$ v: JBrowse to, and select, the .patch file you've downloaded.
9 l! ?' L% \1 }" I, \% ?3 \' s Hit the "Install" button and you're done!

, c, e$ L! L0 F! v4 r7 F(Alternatively, you could just drag and drop the .patch file onto the WOSQI window)

  |; v/ S$ D, `3 c: f$ _1 EThe patch will be completely WebOS-Internals format compatible. This means you will be able to remove it like any other patch: via Tools->Device Management (switch dropdown box to "Patches") or in Preware under the "Patches" section.
