Bruba tested it though and it seems to work. Pay particular attention to his NOTES as these are very important, especially:

- OTA update from 1.1.3 to 1.4.1 didn't work for Bruba nor for me. It worked for boyblueeye.
- Bruba's actually the 2nd user to report a "reflash modem firmware" step in his procedure. Not sure though if this is actually a required step.
1 c, y" O" Y- R- \+ V/ y  ^- profile creation was done via cell data. This may be very important!

Ok guy from Nam.. It took countless hours of flashing and millions of reboots. But it seems like it did the trick. I'm now getting 825 apps and an option to fill in my creditcard.

The trick I used: create a new profile with the language set to the country the Pre came from.

If I remember correctly, these were the steps/rules. They won't all be needed, but this is what I did.

- never go into the app catalog until fully on o2 1.4.1
- I used wifi mostly, but I don't think it's important
- I flashed to 1.1.3, set my o2 UK Pre to English - United Kingdom, and created a new Palm profile (used 3G vodafone NL)
- completed all the account setups with a gmail (contacts, mail, calendar, messaging)
- Flashed to an 1.4.0 o2 bypass activation rom
( W9 }6 k! r) I" q: p- run first use app and set language to EN - UK (reboot)
8 j+ k) g2 K5 u, ^- run first use again and set same language, login to new account (used wifi I think)
- let it get all account info

- update to 1.4.1

- first use app disappears after setting language in 1.4.0. Took way too long to find a solution (change appinfo.json). tomi666: Yes, comfirmed. Too bad, could've helped you with that one. If others have difficulties with, pls flag it. I'll include a step on this.

-使用rebel卡贴。
-通过OTA从1.1.3更新到1.4.1不适合Bruba和我，却适合boyblueeye。

-profile是通过源数据创建的，这非常重要！

我用的把戏是这样的，创建一个新的profile，Pre从哪儿来的，语言就设置为那个国家。

如果我没记错，以下是步骤和规则，他们不全是必须的，不过我确实这么做了。

-通常情况下我用的是wifi，不过我想这不重要
' H: ]0 S3 Q2 o9 L- u( P-我刷了1.1.3，设置O2 UK Pre为英语-英国，然后创建一个新的Palm Profile（用的是沃达丰3G）
-用gmail完成所有的账户设置（联系人、邮件、日历、短息）
-刷O2 1.4.0的免激活rom
-运行first use，设置语言为EN-UK（设置完后会重启）
-再次运行first use，设置同样的语言，登录新账户（用过的wifi）
-让机子获取账户的所有信息

- H* O+ ^) H8 s- \- q( b* N4 k! l-升级到1.4.1

注意：
-使用rebel卡贴
