yes .you can write english here.
and most of us can read and write English .

now , we can change MEID to 0 and change the ESN to what you need. but the phone can't work when try to reactive or download software from App Catalog.

Or , you can get the MEID and ESN at the same time. May be some one can help you to change the MEID/ESN on the phone to what you need.(if your ROM still 1.03)

I found this forum because xxrake was nice enough to post his tutorial at mobile-files.com, but the people who have tried it there have brick their phone... I noticed here that his tutorial is 【教程修订】 a fixed version. I can't read Chinese, and from using google translate I can't understand how to gain read access to the tutorial. I don't want to break the rules and ask for it to be posted in the open, or for someone other than the author to post it at mobile-files.com...

I'm using google translate to change from english to chinese, and I'm sure you'll have just as hard of a time understanding what I'm writing and me understanding what google is translating.

The users who used the method from xxrake at mobile-files, have their phones stuck in airplane or offline mode, I was wondering if anyone here had the same thing, and how did they fix it?

read the three threads need a special right to avoid new users try to change MEID/ESN and make the Pre brick.

I'm not sure if you can read the three threads via google translate since all of them in Chinese.

about xxrake:his phone not work when he try to flash Pre ROM down to 1.02 and he had made it work again today.

but "xxrake" not online now . he is on trip before 15 July. So we can't get more details about how to un-brick the phone.

As he told me, he will try to create a new tutorial about how to un-brick a Palm Pre when he back office..

How can he PM(in-site messaging) you since he is not able to find the function which is labeled also in Chinese? Why not just translate all relevant articles into ink-well English and grant full access to all the people like mms? It's a catastrophe for the people who are urging to save their phones from bricking and rely on Google Translate. We better not allow that to happen.
I would like to do my part voluntarily, expecting this can boost the explorations of Palm Pre across the world and international communications in related fields.
