Palm Pre MEID Solution (CDMA WORKSHOP)
2 j. B' N5 b. LWe've been checking on everyone's progress with the Palm Pre MEID Solution. And we've realized you guys have made it more complicated than it is. We've received some appropriate requests lately, so here's a guide using CDMA Workshop.. In theory, it should work just fine with QXDM by directly replacing the MEID/pESNs, or zero-ing it out and using MEID write command.

1) By now you should understand how to set your phone in PASS THROUGH MODE and have your SPC

2) Connect with CDMA Workshop (v3.4.1 was used) and send your SPC

( Q( ^4 @: Z2 b8 z3) Under the Security tab, in the MEID section, press Write button using UNIVERSAL RAM method. Then select Scan memory for MEID... and use this range:

% n3 _, K% d8 y2 c- h7 R$ ~: V0x00A00000-0x012D0000

note: The phone must return 6 MEID locations and 6 pESN locations. If anything less, don't attempt to write as you will brick the radio.

# Y3 @/ Q' i1 E% [: S+ P4 N: {4) As soon as you have a list of locations, immediately write the MEID as sometimes even rebooting the phone may change one of the locations.

5) Once it finishes writing, CDMA Workshop will confirm the success. Do not reboot or power off the device yet. The device will start searching for signal again, wait until it finds a signal and confirm the MEID by dialing ##DEBUG#. Once confirmed and you have a signal, you're set and safe to continue on (powering off, usage, etc).

I can now confirm; Tony's Method WORKS!

; r7 h* f0 _$ X% o$ K, [If you have an "unaltered" phone, it will work with this caveat: You MUST read the exiting MEID in FIRST, using the Default method, then type in your new MEID, then do the scan memory and write using RAM method.
