如何备份pre里的个人数据(联系人/短信,通话记录等)
目前在桌面端并没有一个合适的备份工具,所以有时要升级ROM不是很方便 .(因为并不是所有的数据都会自动备份到云端)

根据某些国外网友的分析,这个其实可以通过备份一个文件来解决的.
这个文件是 /var/luna/data/dbdata/PalmDatabase.db3

可以在putty或是root命令行里打入相应的指令把这个文件备份出来.

cd /
% t( r# e5 Q; L
cp -f /var/luna/data/dbdata/PalmDatabase.db3 /media/internal/( w* \; @( c4 r/ B% \6 e

复制代码

然后切换到U盘模式可以在根目录下发现PalmDatabase.db3 文件 ,把这个文件copy到电脑中备份一下

要恢复的话.把PalmDatabase.db3 放回U盘目录下.然后putty进去后执行这个

cd /
$ k+ A# q# ?0 x D
cp -f /media/internal/PalmDatabase.db3 /var/luna/data/dbdata/
( w1 w1 D; |0 T

复制代码

再重启一下就可以了

当然目前也可以用其他的方法.

在本地刷ROM后,如果从Profile里没有恢复足够的数据.可以试试看直接把这个替换回去是不是可以.
因为备份出来的数据好象有加密,所以只能做到同一个手机备份和恢复,

国外网站上有网友反映这个备份出来的数据与手机相关,所以如果恢复到其他的手机上可能会在不确定的时候被要求重启,然后所有的数据都被云端的覆盖掉..目前仅供有经验的朋友试用.请多加小心.

要在本地打开这个文件.可以使用SQLite工具.

How To: Back Up Text Messages When Exchanging Phones

Didn't see anything like this on the forums so figured I'd share my experience in saving my SMS messages, call log, and possibly other things when exchanging my Pre today.

This should theoretically work for backing up information as well, in case you are worried about bricking your phone, wipe clean every so often, etc.

Sorry in advance for the instructions, I am sure I left something out somewhere. I am not the most technical person in the world, but everything seems to be fine so far.

1) You will need to have rooted your Pre.
2) Copy /var/luna/data/dbdata/PalmDatabase.db3 to /media/internal
3) Connect via USB (or SFTP) and copy PalmDatabase.db3 to your computer.
4) Switch out Pre's!
5) Move the PalmDatabase.db3 back to the USB drive on your new Pre
5) Backup the current PalmDatabase.db3 (make sure the filesystem is in RW mode) [mv /var/luna/data/dbdata/PalmDatabase.db3 /var/luna/data/dbdata/PalmDatabase.db3.old]
6) Move your old database to the correct postion [mv /media/internal/PalmDatabase.db3 /var/luna/data/dbdata/PalmDatabase.db3]
7) Switch back to Read-Only mode
8) Reset the Pre
9) ...
10) Profit!

I was able to keep all of my text message conversations, call logs, and possibly some other things across the move.

Hope this helps anyone else looking to keep their SMSes across an exchange, or just looking for a way to backup/restore them!

Warning: The Pre Backup does not backup your music, photos, ringtones, wallpaper, stored files, WiFi settings or passwords, SMS messages, speed dials, Web Bookmarks, Launcher customizations, or apps you did not obtain from the App Store.

Also, at this time, there seems to be no one program that will backup every file and setting on your Pre to either Mac or PC automatically.

Your Palm Pre will automatically backup contacts, calendar events, tasks, passwords, settings, and apps from the App Catalog every day. To verify that automatic back up is on, tap Launcher then Backup and make sure Backup is turned on. You can also "Backup now."

The Pre Synergy feature can synchronize contacts, calendar, and email with a Google account or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. These synchronized contacts, calendars, and email are not backed up by the Pre Backup. Third party apps provide additional capabilities:
• PocketMirror synchronizes Mac Outlook 2003 or 2007 contacts & calendar. Echo for PCs.
• The Missing Sync synchronizes Mac or PC Address Book, iTunes, iCal, iPhoto, ringtones, etc.
• CompanionLink can sync Outlook, Act, or GoldMine Contacts and Calendar but not ringtones, music, or photos.

You can manually just copy the Pre as a USB drive to a folder on your PC or from the PC to the Pre. The problem is in determining if the files are different which you want to keep. That is where synchronization comes in. Automatic sychronization like SyncBack offers makes sure that it gets done on an ongoing basis.

SyncToy or SyncBack can backup your music, photos, ringtones, and other files not backed up by the Pre Backup feature.

These instructions are to set up SyncToy but also work for SyncBack.

1. Plug in the Pre and select USB Drive.
2. Download SyncToy and install.
3. Right-click SyncToy (probably the last item under Start-Programs) and Send to Desktop as shortcut.
4. Click SyncToy on your desktop to run SyncToy for the first time.
5. Click Create New Folder Pair. For the Left Folder, Browse to the Pre's Drive (maybe E: or F

5. For the right folder browse to your documents folder and create a new subdirectory such as PreBackup and select it.
6. Choose to Synchronize and name your folder pair something easy to remember like PreBackup.
7. Click Run.

From now on you can just click your SyncToy icon on your desktop to backup your Pre. If you want to add photos or other files to you Pre the next time you backup, just drop them into their directory under that PreBackup subdirectory.

The first backup may take a while, especially if you have a lot of music or photos. But future backups will be incremental only synchronizing files that have changed or are new or deleted.

Note that SyncBack can also automatically backup your Pre everyday at a certain time such as overnight if at home or during the day if the backup is at the office.

Also note that SyncBack also lets you control what happens if a file is in one folder but not in the other. For instance, if you deleted a file from the Pre, do you want the backup to force it back onto the Pre or to ask you what to do? If a file is newer on the Pre or backup, should the other file be updated to the new file or would you like it to ask you what to do? If you try SychBack consider upgrading to the SE version.

A number of other programs have been discussed that can also backup certain files on your Pre:
• DoubleTwist (Mac, PC) -Recommended by Dieter for music and photos.
• Foobar (PC)
• iTuneMy Walkman (Mac)
• iTunes Agent (If Apple blocks Pre syncing) (PC)
• MediaMonkey (PC)
• Rhythmbox (Linux)
• Salling (Mac, PC)
• SharePod (PC)
• Songbird (Mac, PC, Linux)
• SuperSync (Mac, PC)
• Winamp (PC)

按一楼的说明.通过putty方式登录进去后输入指令就可以把文件copy到/media/internal目录下.然后点充电标记或是可以重新插一下,选择USB模式.就可以在根目录下可以看到相关文件了.

感谢楼主！还有一点就要注意大小写区分，开始我在putty里面全部小写：/var/luna/data/dbdata/palmdatabase.db3 ，然后提示找不到文件，然后我用wqi来备份这个文件，当时也没有注意，完全按照楼主的路径写，就成功了，突然发觉是不是需要区分大小写，然后重新用在wqi里录入小写路径，果然提示找不到文件！感觉wqi备份这个文件要简单点，不用移动！

这个更简单：（转载百度知道）

键入#*66623#，之后点拨号图标
击绿色的”CelleBrite Export”按钮。
当”Step1: Export File…”完成后，按照指示把手机和电脑用USB数据线连起来。
激活U盘模式。
确保你的电脑会显示所有隐藏文件，找到”.temp”这个隐藏文件夹。!
找到”PmMigration.vcf”这个文件，这个就是你的webOS手机上所有的联系人信息。把它拷出来。
