zune软件安装问题解决方法 [Resolution to zune software installation issues]

As you may already knew, zune software only supports English version Windows XP/Vista. Then how to install zune software on non-English version Windows?

Here it goes:

For Windows XP:

1. Download and install MSXML6 for your language of Windows XP.

2. Download and install zune 1.0 (which did not check Windows language and ZuneSetup.exe execution).

Note: Download both files from the above links, and extract it by using WinRAR.

3. Launch zune software and update it.

For Windows Vista:

Since zune 1.2 is the only version that supports Windows Vista, we cannot use the same method mentioned above. What's worse - zune 1.2 checks system language and ZuneSetup.exe execution.

For now, the only workaround is install en-us MUI for Windows Vista. The steps are:

1. Install Windows Vista EN-US MUI.

2. Change your user account to use English as your language.

3. Go to http://www.zune.net, download and install ZuneSetup.exe.

4. Complete the installation.

5. After that, you can switch back your language to non-English one.

However, please note - ONLY Enterprise and Ultimate version of Windows Vista can install MUI.
