终于不用舍弃Palm OS上的软件了8 X0 g5 q2 |  ^- t( g
步骤如下：% a* z% [5 d: K) Q8 X: X( ~! q4 A
Download the webOS doctor for your device (Pre or Pixi).
- F* K9 w% W4 ?2 g' y' J7 qExtract the Doctor using a tool like WinRar.
$ E4 w' Q3 I* u8 ~: ~" c, LOpen the “resources” folder and extract the webOS.tar file.
: E. X, q5 `  o: |1 lUnzip the “nova-cust-image-castle.rootfz.tar.gz” file.
! i% G; T4 h8 n; e4 W& h, E% X0 DHook your phone up to your computer and load the usr/lib/palmos/rom0/ROM.bin file onto your USB partition.0 ]( g$ R8 X2 |9 A! E
With SSH or novaterm run “ln –s /media/internal/ROM.bin /usr/lib/palmos/rom0/ROM.bin” to move the extracted Palm OS ROM from the USB partition to the device’s OS partition.
0 z1 ~4 c( `2 w7 a; gReboot the device and launch Classic.

G6 j3 f6 J+ OPreCentral forum member and homebrew developer Arthur Thornton just earned himself a page in our book of awesome people: he figured out the so easy a caveman with Terminal access could do it method to getting Classic to work on webOS 2.0. It’s simple in concept and execution: extract the Palm OS ROM from the webOS 1.4.5 Doctor, and then load it onto your webOS 2.0 device. Tada, Classic instantly works.

It seems to be as simple as that, which makes us wonder why Palm decided to drop the Palm OS ROM from webOS 2.0 and shaft MotionApps in the process. The only thing the Palm OS ROM does is take up space (not a lot, it is Palm OS after all) and wait for Classic to launch it, so why cut it out. Unless Palm is pulling an Apple (dropping the floppy drive) and forcing developers and users to move on from old tech. Full instructions after the break.

这个方法保持应用不变把内核改成webos 2' A: Z( b4 v% `: S+ f" |$ y: T+ J

都webos2.0了还在执着于palm os时代的遗物，这样webos如何才能发展

根据原贴的指令看..建议使用的指令是

  1. + ^3 c5 a  y1 v7 C$ L9 r- H1 I
  2. mount -o remount,rw /) ~4 E1 F+ d: X
  3. chmod 755 /media/internal/ROM.bin, d' w1 V" {% {& _; I0 O
  4. ln -s /media/internal/ROM.bin /usr/lib/palmos/rom0/ROM.bin4 ~2 y0 P" @0 s* q. j& {9 l
  5. chattr +i /media/internal/ROM.bin
    . P0 u( A2 B5 o
  6. mount -o remount,ro /
    $ U# a) N. c1 h+ R% r  Q

看这个方法.应该还可以搞得更简单一些的样子# h9 `7 G* E) t7 ?9 x% X0 a

  s$ ^$ o# u  @. X/ _解开webos2的rom看了一下.目前是只移除了这个ROM文件.连原来的目录都还在的.
! l% `2 O2 n$ {& r3 R* t
( c3 i$ ?: ]- l5 q' _所以直接把那个ROM放进去就OK了4 F6 a4 N2 f8 F- {% s5 K
9 t, }. Z% Y& b% B1 }( ~* T9 S8 C
如果将来目录不对了.指令要进行相应的修改
  1. mount -o remount,rw /! i$ @& {3 J/ J; T7 j
  2. chmod 755 /media/internal/ROM.bin7 [  z4 Q6 ?. m4 l' q- T; _# b
  3. mv  /media/internal/ROM.bin /usr/lib/palmos/rom0/ROM.bin
    8 b& V, ?" u( ]/ M& I
  4. chattr +i  /usr/lib/palmos/rom0/ROM.bin
    $ b$ {& L: ^* V
  5. mount -o remount,ro /

+i 的作用: 不允许任何人修改(包括root)的,可防止被误删除或修改，设定该文件的"不可修改位(immutable)"

WEBOS2.0照样可以支持CLASSIC
