下载后与此前的一个升级程序做下比较，这个版本比此前那个更新一些。

更新程序增加一些错误处理，可以避过一些在此前升级程序中可能会遇到的错误。

包含一个《Treo 750 Update Recovery Tool》，可以在升级失败后恢复。此Recovery Tool也可提供单独下载。
(经过确认，此Recovery Tool与此前网友提供的SD卡升级/恢复方式是类似的，不过一个是SD卡一个是数据线方式，此工具中所用的数据就是此前版本升级程序中的CHEEIMG.nbh)

Have ActiveSync 4.2 installed on your desktop PC.
      Connectyour smartphone to the USB ActiveSync cable and complete asynchronisation before installing the update. ActiveSync should say"Connected" with the green icon, but not be currently synchronising,when you run the update.
      Connect the cable directly to a USB port on your       desktop PC. Cradles, docking stations and USB hubs may interfere with       the upgrade process.

Turn off anti-virus software, screen savers and power saving on your desktop PC.
      If using a laptop, ensure it has power for at least 60-90 minutes.
  Make sure that your smartphone has at least 7 MB available storage       memory (how       to check).
Unlock your device by entering the password/pin and turn off any passwords       on the device.

Disablethe ActiveSync option to "sync items as they arrive" if you are usingit; instead, set your device to synchronise on a schedule or not at allduring the update.
      Pick up or move your smartphone during the update. This can cause the cable to lose connection and halt the update.
      Lock or suspend your desktop PC during the update.

Use Bluetooth wireless to connect with your desktop PC during the update; instead, use the USB ActiveSync cable.

Remove the synchronisation cable during the update.

Remove the battery from your smartphone during the update.

Remove the power adapter cable during the update.
Have a miniSD card in the device when installing this update.

You must use a desktop PC and a USB synchronisation cable to install this update; it cannot be installed wirelessly.
The 'Today' screen (seen in image below) should be visible before you proceed. To access this screen, simply press the 'OK' button on your keypad until the 'Today' screen is visible.  x6 r2 e6 q- T4 D- S/ V

Double-click the .EXE file to begin the update. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the desktop part of the updater.

  ActiveSync appears to connect and disconnect several  times during the Updater process. . G8 F5 l  }( S9 y
  This is expected behaviour of the Updater.  After    the Update completes ActiveSync tries to reconnect but is unsuccessful.    / |2 `8 z4 p7 m# k, P/ r4 W) ]
The Treo will sometimes go into standby at this point.  On the PC the Updater is still open and has not completed yet. Turn the Treo On by pressing the red power  button then the Updater will complete successfully.
5 v' o* e7 S- S6 Y% R7 ?  Q( t$ dDevice is not detected after a successful Update.
9 d# ^9 w4 h7 ZAfter a successful update you disconnect the device and then reconnect and noticethat ActiveSync does not recognise that the device is reattached. ; [5 j( Z7 t& H' v- A4 G
  If your Treo does not reconnect, soft  resetyour device and log out of Windowsand then log back in.5 U( k9 l3 V" d5 F6 ~! \3 q1 I
Keyguard settings are NOT saved after the Update.6 z% A; k4 @1 A  X
The keyguard settings “5 seconds after power off” or “30  seconds after power off” will revert to “Disabled” after  performing an update. You will need to reset these settings after the  update.! H8 x' n4 ]1 b. y) {/ y& z
'Welcome to the Pocket PC Synchronisation Setup Wizard' screen  might appear when connecting to ActiveSync after the update.

用Winrar或Winzip解开PalmTreo750vUpdaterEN，其中有个T750URT.exe(Treo750 Update Recovery Tool)，双击运行即可。

港版750升级1.16时，出现了定屏，一进入windows Mobile界面就不动了，整部机都亮灯了，软启动和硬启动都不行，一进windows Mobile界面就不行了。连上电脑usb也不认，请高手出手相助，谢谢了。
