Yes, CDMA workshop will still show the old ESN, because we know, there are about six(or more) ESN addresses in nv ram, but just two addresses are useful for communication, it's not necessary to modify all ESN addresses. you can open the dialpad and input ##3282#, if it show your new ESN, that means success.
) Y" a+ F V8 b, Y" ]" V& mThe ranges i've posted are for the pre. I used the ranges but not the accurate address in order to support all versions of radio firmware, when you first use EM, it begin search the ESN in the ranges of nv ram, if the ranges are correct, two or mode accurate address will be got, and then, these addresses and the mobile firmware revision number will be saved in file: "/var/cache/esnaddrs.cfg".
H. |, {- P4 Z5 LI have no pixi, and i don't know whether someone have tried EM in pixi, but if you want to do that, you have to search all reachable nv ram and find out the two useful addresses(also allow more addresses), then confirm the ranges and modify in file "/media/internal/esn.cfg". To speed up for searching by EM, you could divide the ranges into section. you know searching nv ram is very slow.% h0 u( O% t9 W, n2 u
"Scan Memory" only get the ranges of reachable ram, you need to dump the nv ram into a file and compute the absolute addresses. If you know the probable ranges, scan memory is not necessary, for example pre, all ESN are in 0x00A00000-0x012D0000. |
