FindWiz is excellent for searching Calendar entries. It supplies a listof hits, which can be listed in reverse order if desired. Scrolling upand down the hit list is a breeze. You can view each hit in a littlewindow in FindWiz or go directly to the entry in Calendar. You can alsotell FindWiz to search the Calendar database but view the hit viaDateBk5Contacts search is equally good.

But Intelligent Find's Memos search is crappy. It'll find all the memoscontaining a particular keyword. In addition, searches can berestricted by memo category or title etc. But when you tap a memo inthe search results window, you're taken to the bottom of that memo --not to the first occurrence the keyword. The keyword is nothighlighted. And you can't search for repeated occurrences of a keywordin a single memo.

You launch FindHack while reading a memo and use its"Search current text field" feature to find every occurrence of akeyword in the memo. FindHack can't touch the MobileSMS 3.1 messages,but it can search through the Palm SMS messages. FindHack can use theTX's big screen.

BUT FindHack is slooow!! It's necessary to scroll down the hit list ifa search gets anything more than 8 hits. But after every tap on thescroll bar there is a pause -- sometimes up to 30 sec, during aCalendar search -- before the list scrolls. I can live with it. I havelived with it. But who would want to, after experiencing the speed ofFindWiz and Intelligent Find?
