Treo™ smartphone—shopping time-saver!
9 d% i* D6 @0 X9 m1 T6 d) X; [. |Grocery shopping is a chore. And trying to find items on a bulky written list doesn’t make it any easier, especially when you have a cart full of items and you need to figure out what you still need. Very simply, I found a way to use the Tasks portion of my 700w to make my grocery shopping easier. I created a category in Microsoft Outlook called “Grocery List” and one-by-one, typed in all the items I needed. I then sync’d to my smartphone and chose “filter by Active Tasks” only for the “Grocery List” category. As I am walking around the supermarket, I press the “complete” button on my smartphone every time I pick up an item. It’s nice to watch my list get smaller and smaller. 8 Y$ t+ `; k5 f2 H( p
' \3 g, F4 Z/ y5 `The best news is the list is reusable! Before each shopping trip, I choose “filter by Completed Tasks” only for the “Grocery List” category and “activate” any items I need to purchase again. I can then repeat the process on each subsequent shopping trip. A huge time saver! 0 Q/ n, w7 |- v% S2 o5 w# q
