Swap space is the area on a hard disk which is part of the Virtual Memory of your machine, which is a combination of accessible physical memory (RAM) and the swap space. Swap space temporarily holds memory pages that are inactive. 理论上来说交换区大了肯定对流畅度有帮助的。原理可以借鉴WINDOWS的SWAP文件。

我的pre刷完用了两个小时了，目前感觉非常好，操作流畅。
比之前的rom多了sim toolkit，voice dial
但可能是我的机子的问题也可能是flash插件的问题，安完flash插件点击浏览器中首选项便没反应了，之前的rom也有这个问题

Adobe Flash is not included in this webOS 2.1 doctor, but can be added with files from a VZW Pre2 2.01 doctor.
Adding Flash Support (Easy Method)
The easiest way to get flash on your webOS 2.1.0 legacy device is via creating a modular package and installing that, along with a patch to make the Adobe Flash preferences visible in the browser.
It sounds complex, but it much easier overall and a How-To has been detailed here

Adding Flash Support Manually
1. Extract WebOS.tar from the Resources folder in the VZW doctor to a location on your hard drive
2. Copy the following files from the extracted WebOS.tar to their equivalent locations in your MetaDoctor (alternatively, you can copy them manually to a live device using Novaterm)
/etc/adobe/mms.cfg
/etc/adobe/oem.cfg
/usr/lib/BrowserServerPlugins/libflashplayer.so

Find the following two lines (should be lines 46 & 47) and comment them out by adding // to the beginning of each line:
this.controller.get("flashPref").hide();
this.controller.get("autoLoadPref").hide();
4. Reboot your Pre if the editing was done on a live device
Flash preferences should now be visible under browser preferences.

看最后，应该是解决了2.1装完flash插件以后，浏览器首选项进不去的问题了。。

到目前为止感觉非常不错
还有就是flash，我英语也二把刀，真的是可以解决安装flash打不开首选项的问题吗？

修改/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.browser/app/controllers/preferences-assistant.js
在第46或者47行
找到

this.controller.get("flashPref").hide();
this.controller.get("autoLoadPref").hide();

在这两行前加 //
即
//this.controller.get("flashPref").hide();
//this.controller.get("autoLoadPref").hide();

保存后退出，重启

应该就是解决了浏览器首选项问题了

我是没出现装了FLASH的插件后浏览器选项打不开的问题，
但是。。。
用WIFI MEDIA SYNC传进机子的图片和短片在自带的视频和照片程序里不能被正确识别，或者说不能完全识别
1.4.5是没问题的，这个，，，有朋友遇到过没？

2. Extract the contents data.tar.gz and move them to their respective locations in your filesystem:
$ tar -zxvf data.tar.gz
# mv opt/Palm /opt/.
# mv usr/local/bin/* /usr/local/bin/.
# mv usr/share/doc/palm-novacom /usr/share/doc/.
Note: If you are using Fedora 64bit, You'll need to install the 32bit version of libusb for the Novacom driver to work.
yum install libusb.i686
3. Extract the contents of control.tar.gz and run the post-install script:
$ tar -zxvf control.tar.gz
# ./postinst

刷了这个ROM，很好！
没有国内做的通用ROM的中文
多了语音和Sim Kit，不装任何软件速度感觉上确实快了点（不知道是不是心理因素）
必须要国际短信激活的（我反而不喜欢免激活版本的，因为要用到app catalog）

同步什么也没问题
