新人入手3p1周不到，
" e* E% w2 D# _4 c; W依据各位大牛前辈的帖子安装软件，刷机，但都遇到了一个致命问题：不能安装驱动NovacomInstaller_x86.rar。。。。, r4 E/ L- N! T& _! w4 u+ \: K5 E
在网上搜了众多帖子。有关掉360解决的，有手动安装解决的，但是我均没有解决。
' t5 _2 u2 Y# Z: ~今天偶尔在国外网站上看到一个有关win7系统上面安装NovacomInstaller_x86.rar的介绍，抱着有栆没栆大一杆子的想法，
! b, x6 R: ? J按照流程走了一圈，还真能够按上了。不讲废话了，具体方法如下：0 N6 a* c- P$ J
( Y1 z' @- x1 h7 A/ f! AFirst off, you'll need to download the WebOSDoctor recovery rom (or if you're using the current WebOS Quick Install, you'll already have this file): Sprint WebOSDoctor 1.2.1 or Bell (Canada)./就是要有一个ROM，+ U* B1 n6 k! ?" N) F

( P- U; n1 u9 }$ BDownload and install Orca. It's a tool from Windows SDK to easily edit Microsoft Installer packages. It's a very quick and simple install./下载Orca软件& m B, c2 `9 w) S7 S0 r

Go to where you downloaded the WebOSDoctor recovery rom and right click on it. Choose "Open with", then "Choose Default Program" and choose whatever archive manager you use (WinZip, WinRar, 7-Zip, etc.).
- M w: n" W5 m" |9 R# pIf you don't have any archive manager, I recommend 7-Zip, it's free. 7 C: h# W0 x* J" U3 D) z z
If your archive manager isn't listed, hit the "Browse" button and navigate to find it.
6 U, a; U# o1 pMake sure "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is not checked. (we want "Java(TM) Platform SE binary" to always be the default) / 用解压缩软件解压缩ROM

Open up the resources folder. Scroll down through it till you find the 2 MSI files (NovacomInstaller_x64.msi and NovacomInstaller_x86.msi).

3 r3 f! p7 Q5 ]8 dFor 64bit Windows 7, extract "NovacomInstaller_x64.msi" / 找到这个msi文件

& b3 A G) {+ m8 m, {Right click on the extracted MSI file. Click the "Edit with Orca"/右击 选择“Orca编辑”3 x, q. j$ g2 ~& w" c* J: n

On the left "Tables" list click "InstallExecuteSequence" and on the main table, look for "installumdf.08B8BE2B_9174_49D1_84B0_40324FD7DE34" and delete it. Save and close./ 删除这个文件，保存退出4 \. x0 I+ U; A# v

大胆刷了2.1，却发现不能更改 palm profile， 看到一个兄弟提到 全清后进行激活，却发生了不能激活的事情。。。* z4 d: [1 J1 I
HP提示为“因为1.4.5开了 backup，需要刷回到1.4.5，关掉才可以”坛子兄弟也是这样做的，暂时不知道成功了否。

我看了大牛们提到的一个devicetool 可以避开激活的事情，我也抱着打栆的心态打了一杆子，结果是喜人的，是可以越过激活。4 |7 d, h/ N. e7 e
呵呵& d+ h( H$ x3 K) }4 b8 d8 e; Z$ ?
