新人入手3p1周不到，
9 V& x0 }1 D+ a% d依据各位大牛前辈的帖子安装软件，刷机，但都遇到了一个致命问题：不能安装驱动NovacomInstaller_x86.rar。。。。" v4 v2 U0 h& `, H2 s/ w
在网上搜了众多帖子。有关掉360解决的，有手动安装解决的，但是我均没有解决。, N6 H( A0 j5 Z7 \9 K P. N: t# l
今天偶尔在国外网站上看到一个有关win7系统上面安装NovacomInstaller_x86.rar的介绍，抱着有栆没栆大一杆子的想法，
5 l8 b3 i! g% C( K) H按照流程走了一圈，还真能够按上了。不讲废话了，具体方法如下：
1 y2 D1 X, B. s( }5 O# H6 R9 O2 m# [
First off, you'll need to download the WebOSDoctor recovery rom (or if you're using the current WebOS Quick Install, you'll already have this file): Sprint WebOSDoctor 1.2.1 or Bell (Canada)./就是要有一个ROM，4 W: O) C. O9 c% h7 ~! Q

7 q9 W& @6 o" w6 j4 ~' T6 G7 |) |Download and install Orca. It's a tool from Windows SDK to easily edit Microsoft Installer packages. It's a very quick and simple install./下载Orca软件
) C+ A% n) m6 ~* F& N0 I4 L \. ; ?8 P) Q2 r. M0 y4 P M/ A$ z
Go to where you downloaded the WebOSDoctor recovery rom and right click on it. Choose "Open with", then "Choose Default Program" and choose whatever archive manager you use (WinZip, WinRar, 7-Zip, etc.).* w a: a. s" P9 R6 U X1 V' D2 U
If you don't have any archive manager, I recommend 7-Zip, it's free. * N0 {6 |8 f$ P; h, Y
If your archive manager isn't listed, hit the "Browse" button and navigate to find it. ' {, G" `/ l+ |" A, X1 a
Make sure "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" is not checked. (we want "Java(TM) Platform SE binary" to always be the default) / 用解压缩软件解压缩ROM

( @4 O2 `9 t' S0 a( r* L COpen up the resources folder. Scroll down through it till you find the 2 MSI files (NovacomInstaller_x64.msi and NovacomInstaller_x86.msi).
; e4 y w* C3 F9 v: C' t5 fFor 32bit Windows 7, extract "NovacomInstaller_x86.msi" 7 t% X [; f! e g( F6 k* N
For 64bit Windows 7, extract "NovacomInstaller_x64.msi" / 找到这个msi文件: [+ R9 { w; Q {( K" x8 c# l6 Q
A) h( x4 k& O* e6 f }.
4 _) q8 a5 W% \1 kRight click on the extracted MSI file. Click the "Edit with Orca"/右击 选择“Orca编辑”

0 b/ a' U* f- T- n; bOn the left "Tables" list click "InstallExecuteSequence" and on the main table, look for "installumdf.08B8BE2B_9174_49D1_84B0_40324FD7DE34" and delete it. Save and close./ 删除这个文件，保存退出

Run the msi. Everything should install properly / 安装那个NovacomInstaller_x86.rar

就OK了' m# t }! w- A0 P7 Q6 g6 Q4 x, Q

下面说一下刷2.1的经过：# P) n5 p3 F' u) Q
大胆刷了2.1，却发现不能更改 palm profile， 看到一个兄弟提到 全清后进行激活，却发生了不能激活的事情。。。& `# }% [- [% K- f9 _
HP提示为“因为1.4.5开了 backup，需要刷回到1.4.5，关掉才可以”坛子兄弟也是这样做的，暂时不知道成功了否。8 a! R+ Q% c4 a5 t( A8 u( o7 J" M* ^
2 ^7 D$ _( f2 \! N! p/ I; q- \2 `
我看了大牛们提到的一个devicetool 可以避开激活的事情，我也抱着打栆的心态打了一杆子，结果是喜人的，是可以越过激活。5 w! W9 m9 I" n% N0 Q: z1 d+ }
