实在也研究不出来，求解。。。有关dr.skipped....

机器是O2的pre+，下了下载中心里面的pre+ O2 官方ROM。
palm profile可以登录，名字依然是dr.skipped first use。
通讯录、书签不同步。application同步了。
app catalog可以登录，还下了几个free的玩具。。。

求解！！！！！我的电话号码啊！！！！

treo大大说，用激活软件跳过激活步骤的才会有那个Dr.XXX。但是我直接装的treo8下载的官方原版，也没有用软件跳过过。。。。。。

吹友能用版也一样，激活后显示dr.skipped，个人怀疑是BUG。
用51定制版则无此问题。

This step is extremely important if you find that after finishing the webOS 2.1 installation your saved apps don't download to your device automatically and your Palm Profile account name under Accounts is "Dr. Skipped Firstuse". You should delete your profile info and Doctor again.

此步骤非常重要，否则你会发现尽管你能安装并登入帐户，但你原来安装的程序不会自动恢复，并且你的帐户名称是“Dr.Skipped Firstuse". 你需要删除帐户信息并重新刷机。

那么，什么步骤没做呢？

With unsupported carrier/device/OS combinations, it may be necessary to clear some Palm Profile data to allow you to sign in on webOS 2.x devices. The process is as follows: Warning: this will delete data from your Palm Profile, including but not limited to: calendars, contacts, account information, email signatures, bookmarks, memos, tasks, SSM/MMS messages, and icon/launcher arrangement.
Open the Backup app.
Turn off backups, confirming that you wish to erase your palm profile information.

使用不被正式支持的设备，必须在原来的1.4.X下取消备份。即：
打开备份程序（需要联网）
关闭备份，确认你想清除PALM profile 信息。
最好做完后再打开确认状态，有些定制ROM可以关闭，但再打开显示的还是开启备份状态。

我之前也是这样正常激活都是现实 Dr.skipped firstuse.
后来我想会不会是用gmail邮箱做profile被墙了的原因，于是我重刷然后用163的邮箱做profile，就正常了！
所以我想应该是 gmail被墙了导致profile识别不到

不要刷免激活的版本，应该不会有这个问题。

刷了免激活的，全清下，好像也可以解决。当然全清了就不是名激活了。

建议：

1. 刷回1.4x，关闭备份功能，把通讯录同步到gmail，或导出成vcf

2. 刷2.1，刷完后做一次reset(erase app&data)，重启后登录原profile，之后的手势教程要看完（不然可能会黑屏）。

最好还是用gmail同步通讯录

执行完上述两个步骤就o了

刷完安装51的first use补丁
wifi创建profile账户
悲剧的是accounts里边2个dr.skipped first use账户。。。。。
