Solution:

, c! {* t2 x. K% K% B- r$ l. V% mDownload the DataViz Tech Tool, and save the PRC file to the desktop on your PC or Mac
' O7 v7 y& e$ n: bOn your desktop, double-click on the dataviztech.prc file to add it to Quick Install (or Install Tool)
3 a& Z4 [5 q9 h% ~Close the install tool, then HotSync your handheld n" y5 R2 o4 V/ W6 E8 x. F
After the HotSync, open the DataVizTech application on the handheld
9 s" ^* T( N4 b4 OTap on the upper-left corner where you see "DataViz Tech Tool" to open the menu, and select Advanced Options : M; f/ k! a$ R5 `2 {
Tap the "Delete Preferences" button (then tap Yes)
! S8 N/ F0 J$ {Tap the "Delete Database" button (then tap Yes)
, F6 J3 }" U5 L/ STap the "Delete Temp Database" button (then tap Yes)
$ M( w2 R9 r9 ?+ C! GSoft-reset your handheld, then verify you have at least 1 MB of free internal memory (press the Home button, tap the time in the upper left corner, and choose Info)
/ D" r( M( M$ I5 O4 dYou should now be able to open Documents To Go on the handheld, and view your documents.' v* a2 O2 B! E/ I; \

If the previous steps did not resolve the issue, follow all the steps below. W/ z4 I" J' w9 o3 H/ a7 _! p% m1 L5 f
8 |' V! {: a2 RNOTE: This procedure will delete any documents that are not stored on an expansion card. Please HotSync to make sure your documents in Documents To Go are backed up to the desktop.

Open the DataVizTech application on the handheld
9 i8 p9 E. N5 `Tap the "Move Applications To Handheld" button (then tap Yes)
+ Y6 v/ N4 r, L% L; k" [6 uTap the "Uninstall Documents To Go" button (then tap Yes)
' z5 T1 W$ e4 {- m, @" y4 _8 a& VTap on the upper-left corner where you see "DataViz Tech Tool" to open the menu, and select Advanced Options * x$ L& R: B$ ?) F& i
Tap the "Delete Preferences" button (then tap Yes) 9 S2 A& E* T% i F7 I( W5 q1 r
Tap the "Delete Database" button (then tap Yes) q8 {1 s4 u- D' J* A9 g8 _

Soft-reset your handheld, then verify you have at least 7 MB of free internal memory (press the Home button, tap the time in the upper left corner, and choose Info)

$ G0 \) Z) {& c/ s. HOn your PC or Mac, open Documents To Go, and make sure your Palm username is displayed near the top (or upper-right corner) of the window
+ B3 B/ B- ~$ L6 J1 B8 SReinstall the Documents To Go handheld applications:
8 A9 L7 }. [! H8 @Windows - click the Tools menu, and select Reinstall Handheld Applications
5 p1 {+ T3 C! ?% @' E) W' yMacintosh - click the Documents To Go menu, and select Reinstall Handheld Applications
8 G1 m" R& n1 e5 n5 NClick the "OK" or "Continue" button until you are back to the main Documents To Go screen 4 X0 i# q" I/ k
HotSync twice (once to install, and a second time to sync your desktop documents to the handheld)
% n8 ?1 ` K* m+ D/ R- b; J% HYou should now be able to open Documents To Go on the handheld, and view your documents.

NOTE: This section only applies to the Premium and Professional Editions of Documents To Go 7, 8, and 9.
& w8 h9 _0 N' ^; W' @, t9 \0 s9 L5 v/ ]* ?4 H$ T
First, you will need to retrieve your registration number for Documents To Go. To find it, open Documents To Go on your handheld, tap "DataViz Documents To Go" in the upper-left corner, then go to Options > Registration Info. Record the number shown there, and then follow the steps below:

& s$ v$ g! r% K+ ~* c4 k% ^9 HOpen the web browser on your handheld and go to http://www.dataviz.com
# b' T: e# Z# o* c% dYou should be redirected to http://www.dataviz.com/handheld + V; y1 \4 n7 D" X- y; e
Tap the "Redownload Software" link & }- S4 Q" i' b N. G
If necessary, enter your last name and registration number, then tap the Submit button 6 E+ J2 v, {/ X) y6 w
Tap the "Download Software" link towards the bottom of the page
/ J& I$ i# v, o, _1 k/ l* c7 iTap Yes when prompted to save the file to the Device " C5 y+ A. i9 M5 X) b. N* H
Tap "Save and open" when prompted ' i Q6 W s# s; h
Once the download completes, tap Yes to accept the file into Applications
+ V- J! Y$ c3 A, o& Y1 bIf it doesn't open automatically, find the new program (i.e. GetDocs8, GetDocs9, etc) and open it ; Q: b" I/ R# g
Follow the prompts to complete installation
3 S9 v! T& i8 Q3 K+ v9 v! F; k2 |( CAfter the download and installation are complete, you should be able to open Documents To Go on the handheld, and view your documents. |
