/ [* Y+ X! P5 TIt's high noon, Apple and AT&T -- we really hate to break it toyou, but the jig is up. Last night the impossible was made possible:right in front of our very eyes we witnessed a full SIM unlock of ouriPhone with a small piece of software. It's all over, guys.

The iPhoneSIMfree.com team called us up to prove their claimthat they cracked Apple's iPhone SIM lock system, and prove it theydid. (No, we don't have a copy of the unlock software, so don't evenask us, ok?) The six-man team has been working non-stop since launchday, and they're officially the first to break Apple's SIM locks on theiPhone with software. It's done. Seriously. They wouldn't tell us whenand how they would release it to the public, but you can certainly betthat they'll try to make a buck on their solution (and rightly so). Wecan hardly believe the iPhone's finally been cracked. No, scratch that-- we just can't believe it took this long.

Notes on the install

• The unlock process took only a couple of minutes. From our end it was totally painless.
• Onceyou put your new, non AT&T SIM in the device, you have to gothrough the usual activation process. This can, of course, be done byanyone anywhere with the right tools (like iASign or iActivator)
• Wetested with an active T-Mobile SIM -- after the hack was finished andwe reactivated we immediately got full bars and the T-Mobile carrierinfo popped up in the top bar.
• Everything is otherwisethe same, except the menu system now has a couple more options. Theroot menu has Carrier settings where you can select your preferrednetwork if you don't want to roam.
• The General ->Network menu now has an EDGE network settings area where you can inputyour carrier's APN and username / password. We put in our T-Mobileinfo, and were immediately online. (Apparently these hidden menus wereadded in the 1.0.1 update, they tell us. How convenient!)
• Visualvoicemail isn't in the cards -- sorry. That was, of course, to beexpected because it's a special AT&T network-specific feature rightnow. When you hit the voicemail button you are taken immediately toyour carrier's default voicemail line though, and that works just likeit would on any other phone.
• Everything is confirmed asworking on a non-AT&T network: SMS send / receive, internet(including Safari, Mail, Google maps, etc.). YouTube doesn't work outof the box, but that's to be expected. If you're not on AT&T youhave to manually activate YouTube -- here's the guide on how to do that. (YouTube is the only app you have to activate like this.)
• We know, it's kind of crazy, but this isn't a hoax.
• No, sorry, you can't have our unlocked iPhone.

Restore / upgrade resistance

• The iPhoneSIMfree.com guys claim this method is restoreand upgrade resistant. We have no way of knowing whether Apple will beable to disable this SIM unlock with future iPhone software updates,but we can confirm that it is restore-resistant.
• We performed a full restore (v1.0.2) on our iPhone and successfully activated it using an inactive AT&T SIM.
• Afterfake-activating our iPhone, you merely pop out the AT&T SIM, put inthe foreign SIM of your choosing, reactivate, and you're done. "Boom,"as Steve might say.
• Restoring from an iPhone backupin iTunes worked perfectly despite the lock and foreign SIM. The onlything to notice was the phone number is now listed as "n/a" in iTunes.Big whoop.
• No, seriously. You can't have our unlocked iPhone.

• We show the T-Mobile SIM at the beginning and end.
• The video stream doesget cropped toward the end. That's actually just a crop to make surethe phone number on the second iPhone isn't shown. No frames of thevideo stream were removed, it wasn't a cut.
• Just so you could be extra sure it's real, we even left in the GSM radio noise.
• Dude, you can unlock your own iPhone soon, ok? You can't have ours.

解锁不是重点，APPLE在利益驱动下，一定会出Unlock GSM版的。就算还没有出，全世界也有n多人在搞这个解锁。

关键在于中文的显示和输入，显示目前貌似解决，输入不知道何时能解决。

真的到美国的话..基本上不需要发中文短信的..当然回来后还是需要的罗..

5 \4 K2 q6 v! p象iPhone目录的情况.需要APPLE开放某些权限或是开放给专门的三方,才有可能解决中文输入的问题..
/ R9 i& m% M0 S目前连JAVA功能也没放开.复制/粘贴功能也没开放.其实如果可以"复制/粘贴"的话.中文输入就可以解决一大半罗..比BB强很多的罗..在网上有很多可以在线输入汉字的地方..
