UPDATE: The wifi drivers no longer work with the Treo’s new firmware.
d) ?# }( E- \- t" eWell over at Treo Central, user ‘Shadowmite’ has created the first ever Treo 650 Wi-Fi driver set…. Thankfully he has picked us to host the file!- z" H- W6 t; F s4 W, ]0 N
Go download it! PRC (mirror) or ZIP (mirror)
& Y& _3 l1 a# @1 Y g0 O+ HHis instructions:; Z9 P; I1 \+ C0 V
1) Copy the file to a SD card
W+ s p! @: v, S1 j3 w) G2) Run the file
: M2 u' `; w4 `/ ?; {- L! k3 |3) It will go [through] installing some files, followed by a soft reset
- G" ]1 h+ t* e! L4 \4) It will install some more files, and identify itself as T5 Wifi installer
! f! D8 l2 \! N5) It will ask for the Wifi Card...* L4 v' g8 ]2 {* B# O9 ?6 A4 y' I) r2 i
6) Insert the card and press next, it should finish and reset again.& ~7 v& O+ b/ j& K z
7) Rock and roll, experiment and figure it out...
