, S1 [* a" ]  q-Idon't know why but almost all the other guides I've seen on the nethave you restoring all the way down to 1.0.2. That's unnecessary.
+ `. F' D& |* l* h4 w' J. E! w-Though I haven't tried it, the same procedure will also work for 1.0.2 phones. You may need to revirginise first.( _7 R9 m( i1 t( b6 z
-Look here for 1.0.2 revirginizing.! `7 [- }$ m2 |+ C& e, u: n
-Thiswill not work on OOTB iPhones with the new 4.6 bootloader. (OOTB at themoment are 1.1.2s. Rumour has it that some new 1.1.1s are coming withthe new bootloader too.)& ?1 S; C2 F9 u% K) P1 i7 n
-Don't be afraid to try. Even if you misseda step, you'll just have to start over. There's almost no chance ofbricking the iPhone.

- 2. For those still on 1.0.2. If your iPhone has been unlocked previously with AnySIM 1.0, it must be virginised first.6 y' z( A, h7 H- c

You'll also need a WiFi connection for the iPhone.

- iTunes 7.4.2 (for iPhone Restore & Update)
6 o6 H  \& f: o* E. K-iNdependence 1.2.5 (PC users will need iPhuc or iBrckr instead ofiNdependence, they are only used to kick the iPhone out of DFU mode)  g) Z. O, H+ `0 L2 q
- If you're using iTunes 7.5, you'll need iNdependence_v1.3_beta2 & MobileDevice_7_4_2.framework.zip

1. Restore* to 1.1.2 using iTunes
& d9 k+ i/ a. ~. ~( R% |$ b) V* n9 JPutyour iPhone into recovery mode. (Hold Power & Home buttons. Whenscreen goes black, release Power only. While still holding Home, plugin the cable.)
) _* r" n  E( Q5 tClick Restore.
; a5 d' j8 K" w7 g# `This will give us 1.1.2 and baseband 04.02.13_G2 l1 t6 s$ b+ q& ^

, ^6 e) h. T; y2. Restore* down to 1.1.1 using iTunes
( z0 ?' X: L' t/ bPut your iPhone into recovery mode (see above) & connect to computer, option-click Restore9 e. q2 Y( t9 x
Select the iPhone 1.1.1 ipsw file.2 F4 H6 U) |; B, f! `, R
It will end with a 1015 error. That's OK.
- P0 }; P9 v- W6 BQuit itunes and open iNdependence. iNdependence will kick the iPhone out of recovery mode.
# d7 \6 J' L8 UPC users, use iBrickr 6 ^3 Y1 I0 q' F
or iPhuc and issue the following commands:
7 q% G9 i$ _/ E6 D8 _6 Acmd setenv auto-boot true( }& V0 z6 O; U- G) g
cmd saveenv
: t2 d# ^! ?6 K8 R8 T+ n. @cmd fsboot
% P& }) s5 D+ ^/ w$ _- |8 q2 }This will give us 1.1.1 and retain baseband 04.02.13_G

3. Activate & Jailbreak 1.1.1 using jailbreakme.com+ S" t8 Z4 E& s; O! E
Instructions from http://jailbreakme.com/safari.html/ u/ ~6 }( a' n, s# R" R) k- P
This will also install Installer for you.+ C6 }: v- ]0 c' [  r( g5 z

( g; W6 l3 C3 R1 q: ~6 @4. Install BSDSubsystem & OpenSSH: Q0 g4 ^: J' v1 T' s8 P0 Y
Use Installer to install the above 2.
! ?# {& U- ^* W+ [9 B
- T* s! n1 ]# Q3 R' Y& w5. Unlock 1.1.1 using AnySIM 1.2.1u
. I; f) o: z( j: \9 P% r& s& RSet Auto-Lock to Never.
0 y  A" e! C9 c! x2 s% W2 y: WUse FuGu or WinSCP to copy AnySIM 1.2.1u to /Applications on the iPhone.% Z! Z8 [* H/ C7 b% D  J
Run AnySIM to unlock the iPhone.& m$ x- Y+ E' m$ x( B/ n
3 v0 U+ u; r* k$ X0 P3 R& s
6. Install & run Oktoprep on 1.1.18 @0 i% l  {  F
Use Installer to install Oktoprep and then run it. It's in Tweaks (1.1.1)- v0 F6 l8 P7 l: d. Z2 A
7 t, R9 D( @* ?# r( j# ]7 f
7. Update* to 1.1.2 using iTunes
! q3 `% {+ {  G/ PConnect iPhone to iTunes and do an update. (NOT RESTORE)4 z: c" T& y. Z  Y, ?6 \* g
This will give us 1.1.2 and baseband 04.02.13_G.
. q4 {% L. R. y8 v2 \Phone will still be unlocked but it's jailed & not activated.- u3 l7 C4 Y  h5 \! A
" i9 G: S; P% F
8. Activate & Jailbreak using 1.1.2 Jailbreak (the .JAR file)7 f3 D- W9 l4 m9 i; R
PC users will need Java Runtime.
) w5 ^' L7 @) t3 z6 s0 E  FRun the 1.1.2 Jailbreak on your Mac/PC2 E3 K% l1 h# e2 E7 a% V
On completion it'll reboot twice.0 D$ {. f9 X$ {# G2 S
This will give us activated, jailbroken, unlocked 1.1.2 with baseband 04.02.13_G. (ie the latest & the greatest)" S* @% Y4 Z& v( d: l1 Z

9. Fix dialer/SMS crash with pntedit for AppSupport
4 O3 n) t2 W8 A; oBasically you'll need to patch AppSupport with pntedit with the correct values for your country. * C/ {/ }1 [0 ^2 k
or
: \4 ^' N1 b. X3 \( FUseInstaller.app to install iWorld. It's in Tweaks (1.1.2) It fixes thecrashes and uses French rules for callerid matching. (untested bymyself) + |/ h, h$ e3 X5 f8 r0 I

6 D' d$ o# S4 N+ W4 p1 @This will fix the iPhone crashing when you try to dial using the keypad.
