Henk Jonas of MetaViewSoft has releaseda cool iPhone-like keyguard replacement for Palm OS devices. The appsimply replaces the standard Treo or Centro keyguard, with a nicerlooking transparent slip screen showing the time and system vitals.When you click the center button to dismiss the keyguard, it does agraceful slide away animation. I have to sys it's a nice looking littleutility and also shows some additional info such as battery level, freememory and whether or not your silencer is activated. You can alsodismiss the keyguard by clicking on the window with a finger. You cancatch a short video clip of it in action after the break. ) l, @: m0 X/ W6 e9 B
The as of yet unnamed app was created by Henk for the recent German Palm User Meeting sponsored by Nexave.It is available as a free download with a GPL open source license. Thesource code is available for prc-tools. It should work on all highresolution Treo's, Tungsten's and I successfully tested it on a Sprint Centro as well. |
