Pocket Excel is pre-installed on all Pocket PCs. A typical user expects to be able to open any spreadsheet from Microsoft Excel for Windows in Pocket Excel, work on it and save it back, with data and formatting intact.

Reality check please: Have you ever tried to open even moderately complex spreadsheets in Pocket Excel? Here is what happens:: g# x" n8 D d6 x' ]/ T- n' R; n
; ]; Y' W; C' z- [2 I* sPocket Excel supports only a quarter of Microsoft Excel's calculation functions. The rest is lost when opening a spreadsheet file.

Pocket Excel has no support for charts at all. Not only can you not view or modify charts on the road, Pocket Excel also deletes them from your .XLS files.7 ]- R8 S& o9 z+ u+ J
