We stripped off anything that was not deemed necessary, so that the* h8 T; \" J; m
footprint is minimal. (I would not believe that it can be made under 30K -! s* h9 K( \3 L! p
with zlib included. Consider that the public PNG + ZLib sources have approx.
; L/ F4 L, p5 u1 e2 MB.) Should be also slightly faster than GRX implementation (some 20%).

Further special optimizations could be made if we saw an adequate reason. I
